Happy Valentines Day!!!!

Yes. These are as delicious as they look! Heavy and yummy!!! I got this recipe off of the Food Network website, submitted by Sunny Anderson (thank you Sunny!!!) although I have made some alterations of my own. My daughter and I made them last night. YUM! RED VELVET CREAM CHEESE SWIRLED BROWNIES!
Here is the recipe, and I hope you have a great Valentines Day!!!
1 stick butter, melted 1 tsp. vinegar
1 cup sugar 2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
pinch salt
1 oz. bottle red food coloring
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Spray an 8x8 inch square pan with PAM or Bakers Pride. Set aside.
BROWNIE LAYER: In a small pain or microwave safe dish, melt butter. Remove butter to mixing bowl and add sugar, vanilla, cocoa powder, salt, food coloring, and vinegar, in that order, mixing between additions. Whisk the eggs in a small bowl and stir into the cocoa mixture. Fold in the flour until combined. Reserve 1/4 cup of batter, then pour remaining batter into prepared baking pan.
CREAM CHEESE LAYER: Blend together the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla in a medium bowl. Gently spread the layer on top of the brownie batter in the pan. Dollop the reserved batter over the cream cheese layer. Drag a knife through the dollops, swirling with the cream cheese. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove to a cooling rack and cool completely before cutting (I put in the fridge).
